Every time meeting and leading many friends of our country, number of which increasing every year, I catch myself on thought that the most valuable capital given us by God is divine beauty of land that was chosen by our ancestry thousands years ago to live on, obeying to inner feelings of beauty and harmony, but not – mineral oil and gas, gold and diamonds, resources of which are limited. And today mountain valleys and snow-white glaciers, clear rivers and lakes are ready to serve people, to give opportunity to all of us to raise the level of life, offering to the guests of the country possibility to open for themselves that kind of amazing land of plenty.
Tourism field of Kyrgyzstan during last years has made significant jerk in adaptation of its economic mechanisms to worldwide cannons of development in this field. Here are variety of offered tourist routes, the level of service, support of the Government and President of the Kyrgyz Republic. But the most important thing is that we could change personal factor of people, occupied in tourism business, weak up the desire of widening range of interest, education, change mentality towards the tourist interests, which should become for us not simply the client that demands the high level of service during his stay in our country for his money, but he should become for us first of all a friend that will keep in his heart the love to our land and its people, and where he would want to come again and again. For this reason I believe that tourism in Kyrgyzstan has big prospects and we will do our best to make our land the most desirable place in the world to come. Nothing can eclipse the beauty and charm of Tian-Shan, scalding coolness and clearness of Issyk Kul Lake, romanticism of history and legends connected with this edge. And certainly the folk with its romantic appeal of a thousand-year history and wonderful legends of the nomadic people with the original cultural heritage, astonishing ancient customs and traditions.
Kyrgyzstan since the ancient times was an important junction on the busy roads of international, diplomatic and cultural links between the East and the West. Today the most competitive and attractive types of tourism resort and recreation tourism, mountain adventure tourism, tours on the Great Silk Road, and business tourism, because our republic occupies a favorable position of the trade routes. And nowadays Kyrgyzstan becomes more attractive for the admirers of extreme recreation, businessmen, sportsmen and scientists, people interested in history and culture of the countries situated on the Great Silk Road.
Every region of our republic has interesting natural, historical and cultural sights and a definite tourist potential, which can become an important factor in developing a single region as well as the whole country. But the most important is to have the interest in steady tourism from both sides. Tourists must estimate their demands impartially, be ready for new service. And the host and serving side must introduce the forms based on the concept of steady development.
