The game of cricket has lost another member of “the league of extraordinary gentlemen”. After Lara, Inzamam, Fleming and McGrath, it is now Shaun Pollock’s turn. These players graced cricket and it was pure pleasure to watch them just walk onto the field. Sadly, we are now left with only record-chasers, boorish cheats, show-offs and foulmouthed bullies.
