Some days ago I attended a seminar on career planning. One must praise the manner in which the seminar was held to create awareness among the new generation regarding career planning. I think career-counseling organisations are a need of our society because a young student doesn’t generally know what career he or she should choose.

In European countries such organisations work alongside educational institutions to guide students about their careers. I believe it will be quite beneficial for Pakistani universities if they too establish committees/bodies to help their students choose better careers.
