I visit Murree every year to revive my memories of the once picturesque hill station. But it breaks my heart to see the things we have done to convert this heaven into a tourists’ lunda bazaar, or worse. What our government and the money-driven society have done to Murree is shameful. The paths that climb up its hills, its mall, its restaurants, the balmy air, the fragrance and the greatness of the valleys where the lungs could really breathe have vanished.
