I am surprised to know the government’s contention that the flour crisis has been done away with and that there is no shortage of the commodity in the country. The officials of the ministry concerned should visit flour shops outside which people not only wait for hours in long queues to buy flour, but also fight each other in the process. This experience will make them realise the ground reality.
