A colossal amount is spent on the training of traffic police, and more taxpayer’s money went into providing motorcycles to the members of the force. But the traffic situation has not shown any improvement so far. In fact, it has gone worst than it was under the previous traffic police.

We still see drivers jumping red lights and changing lanes without reason, with many vehicles still displaying number plates of unauthorised patterns, colours and fonts. We still come across noisy and smoke-emitting rickshaws.
