Cycling: Cunego in cruise control

Italian Damiano Cunego took the overall lead of the Tour de Suisse, despite being beaten at the line on stage three by Peter Sagan.

Juan Mauricio Soler of Colombia had won stage two to take the yellow jacket, but Lampre-ISD rider Cunego has now finished second in the last two stages to take a 54 second lead with two thirds of the event remaining.

Soler finished in amongst a group chasing sixth place and ended up taking ninth, falling behind Cunego in the overall standings but staying ahead of Rabobank duo Bauke Mollema and Laurens Ten Dam, who finished in the same group as the Colombian.
