Newly elected cabinet of SPIR take oath

The School of Politics & International Relations, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad (SPIR) society’s cabinet took oath in the ceremony held on Wednesday at Quaid-I-Azam University Islamabad.

Director SPIR Dr. Lubna Abid Ali was the chief guest of the ceremony. She administered oath to the newly elected president of joint society of the SPIR.

Later incharge of SPIR society Mujeeb Afzal administered oath to the rest of the cabinet.

The cabinet enthusiastically vowed to be faithful, responsible, and will work for the betterment of society and honour of institution above all.

The Director SPIR extended her congratulations to all successful candidates and lauded the efforts of all involved in setting the democratic norms in the institution.


Incharge of the SPIR-society was fully satisfied with the process of elections and thanked students for making the electoral process successful.

The formal structure of newly elected body consist of President Shoaib ali Khan, Vice president Tanveer Farooq Maan, Vice president of I.R Sajjad Malik, General Secretary Summiyah Khalid, Deputy General Secretary Nighat Bano, Deputy General secretary Madiha Shakeel Khan, Joint sectary political science Shazib Zaheer Butt and Finance Secretary Anum Raza Khan.

The election of SPIR society was held under the supervision of chief election commissioner Summar Rao on March 14.
