Bahria Town Launches Pakistan's first Premium Supermarket ‘Greenvalley’ in Mall of Lahore
October 14, 2011
Greenvalley is a high-end supermarket chain established by Bahria Town and the flagship store opened its door in the Mall of Lahore. The ribbon cutting ceremony was done by Mr. Malik Riaz Hussain, Chairman Bahria Town. The event was attended by a large number of guests, dignitaries & other socialites.
A brand new addition to the retail sector of Pakistan, Greenvalley supersedes all claims of its peers, both local & international in not only the category of a supermarket but of the retail sector. The interior has been designed through international retail specialists who have worked on brands like Spinneys & Waitrose. All aisles, equipment and allied materials have been imported from Italy.
It is a first for the Pakistani consumer, a high-end superstore with the best brands, biggest range & best prices. It offers lowest prices in town for over 1000 imported products, prices that are even less than the prominent stores like Al-Fatah. ‘Unlimited’ and ‘all under one roof’ are the words that best describe the product range at the Greenvalley. The different sections include Imported Groceries, Butchery & Fishery Counter, Delicatessen Counter, Cheese Counter, Bakery & Patisserie, Rotisserie & Italian Foods, Chocolate & Donut Factory, Hot Food Counter & Juice Bar, Imported/ Local Fruits & Vegetables, Cosmetics & Perfumery, Home Appliances & Sweets Counter. The team consists of the best experts & professionals; in bakery for instance the Head Baker is an Indonesian who is an ex- Bakery head of Kempinski Hotel.
Malik Riaz, the Chairman of Bahria Town, said, "We are proud to be entering into the retail sector, which has much to offer in terms of our strategic expansion in Pakistan. We have specifically chosen Mall of Lahore to be our flagship entry store, in light of the center's exceptional location and emphasis on providing visitors with a unique experience unsurpassed in the country. We look forward to offering a unique retail experience to consumers, and we are confident that they will enjoy what we have to offer in terms of high quality product, service and of course great value for money." Salman Ahmed Khan, VCE Bahria Town at the occasion said “Greenvalley aims to combine the convenience of a supermarket with the expertise and service of a specialist shop.”
