Haqqani group and the drums of war
September 30, 2011
The recent statements of the US high command depict shear frustration, desperation and deep sense of unnerving dismay that has haunted the neocons sitting in Washington. A war hysteria and a fit of misdirected rage has taken over the US administration’s top military brass and neocon establishment who have so far failed to attain their ultimate objective out of war of attrition alias war on terror. They are angry because their deep-seated hatred for Pakistan and their ultimate goals behind the war on terror have been uncovered. Their vicious propaganda, coercive strategy, implosive tactics have so far didn’t work which have now snowballed against the only Muslim nuclear state in the world. The statements of top US officials reveal nothing but shear hatred, hypocrisy, hostility and abhorrence which they have inherited from the crusaders.
Chairman US Joint chiefs of staff Admiral Mike Mullen declares talks with Gen Kiyani in Spain very fruitful and lauds the military cooperation between the two countries. But the very next day, his spokesman Captain John Kirby expressed the “concerns” of Mullen about the ‘increasingly brazen activities of the Haqqani Group and demanded Pakistan Army “to take action against them in North Waziristan”. On Sunday 25th 2011, the harshness of the statements made by the American senators even intensified when Senator Graham threatened Pakistan “to choose between America and the Haqqani network”. The tone was no different from the one adopted at the time of 911. Same belligerence, shear smugness and hollow arrogance, if someone is to describe the American attitude in three words.
Senators Graham further threatened Pakistan that “America can go any far to protect its soldiers”. Almost all top US officials, right from Mullen to White House spokesman, were bursting with anger on the US consulate bombing in Kabul launching the blame game that Haqqani group had done it through the ISI support. Now Americans have simply forgotten that if they are blaming ISI for consulate bombings they are just confessing the fact that they have failed to protect their own consulate in the heart of Afghanistan in Kabul which is heavily guarded by the coalition and American troops. Second, the Taliban have defeated them out rightly because they are everywhere now. In other words, the American officials are blaming the ISI for their defeat in Afghanistan and second they are showing signs of frustration because they have failed to bring “peace” to Afghanistan despite their exhaustive campaign. And how ? how can an aggressor can bring “peace” to a country like Afghanistan, which has a history to defeat any aggressor in the past .To any aggressors , peace in the occupied region means their complete triumph and ultimate victory and war and unrest means defeat and vanquish. Will the Americans like to change their lexicon with these obvious words and stop cheating the world anymore?
Actually, the Americans have been unnerved by the fact that Obama has to face American people in the next elections soon. American taxpayers have applied enormous pressure on their government to explain why they should always heavily pay for the American adventurism every time and anywhere in the world, just to stop a false nightmare come true? American taxpayers no longer believe the propaganda tactics of the Jewish media, their brazen lies and phony idealization. So the US officials have a tough job to do… they have to tell their people that they actually would have won the war had there been no support of Haqqani group by the Pakistani military and ISI. Now this spurious idea gives birth to another vicious pretext that the real enemy is Pakistan and the war should not be over unless Pakistan has been “neutralized”. And consequently Pakistan can’t be neutralized unless its powerful defense forces and ISI have been overcome.
The second reason is that Americans have spent no less than 7 trillion dollars in their war of attrition and they have to justify this huge sum in front of tax payers despite that they have been defeated. Third, Americans want a scapegoat for their defeat, and to them the best candidate should be Pakistan. Fourth, Americans have so far failed to ignite a long-awaited clash between the Afghan Taliban and Pakistan to give an ultimate shape to their long-desired shift of afghan war into Pakistan. In order to lay the foundations of a civil war in Pakistan leading to its ultimate balkanization, as they had planned, such a chaos and unruliness would give Americans a pretext to lay hands on the Pakistani nukes, the actual plan behind the whole hoax of 911 and American global hooliganism.
Fourth, Americans have failed to incite a division between the Taliban factions so vital to the American victory in Afghanistan. For this purpose they tried to divide Taliban into those who were supposed to negotiate with the Americans and the Haqqani group. But grouping in Taliban could mean a group of few American cronies minus the whole Afghan Taliban or in clear words the Afghan people who want to liberate their homeland from the American and coalition occupation forces. And this has added rage to the accent of the American intonation of lies. Fifth, the Americans are desperate to leave and before they leave they want to leave permanent unrest in the region by coercing Pakistan to undertake operation in North Waziristan.
In a way, the Indian and American unified agenda and rancorous alliance of the global pirates stands exposed when they are beating the drums of a false and phony propaganda to malign Pakistan for their own inaction, incompetence and to build a charge sheet against Pakistan. Weather there is the hoax of 9/11, Mumbai and Malegaon attacks in India, Indian and then American consulate bombings in Kabul, Indian parliament attacks in Delhi and the American defeat and incapability in Afghanistan, they have same targets, same objectives and same mission i.e. to destabilize and balkanize Pakistan.
The similarity of purpose is convincing enough to declare that both are enemies of the same magnitude but with difference of tactics. One is naked and the other, acting in the disguise of a friend.
The reaction of the Chinese government was both distressing for Americans as always and a sigh of relief for the Pakistani people. Chinese government as soon as Americans threatened Pakistan with grave consequences for “helping” the Haqqanis, reacted with these words: “An act of aggression against Pakistan’s territorial integrity will not be tolerated at any cost”. Such was the reaction of the Chinese government and people having proverbial ties of friendship with Pakistan and its people. China's deputy premier has arrived to Pakistan to show solidarity and to convey a message to Americans/Indians that Pakistan is not alone in case of any adventurism. In fact, both Pakistan and china have unified interests in terms of regional security and bilateral interests , but beyond that China is an all weather friend of Pakistan and Pakistanis are proud of it.
The current turmoil of Pakistan has once again exposed the “competence level” of Pakistan’s NRO-stricken rulers and put a huge question mark on their credibility when they once again, like always, failed to react to American threats and their superficial response was both pathetic and hollow. The mysterious silence of the president is narrative of the reality behind. Once again the military leadership had to come forward to warn Americans to observe restraint.
Pakistan has tremendous opportunity now where it is going to act as a frontline state for its real friend China, and for the first time in the history of Pakistan its frontline status is going to take a real meanings. Pakistan will prove to be the Stalingrad of 21st century for Americans. Americans should know that the eastern front this time will be pioneered by Pakistan where the interests and spirit of hope of the whole eastern world and the world peace lies and any adventurism on part of Americans would trigger WW-111 and the end of the American bestiality and global hegemony.
